A human brain has approximately 80 billion neurons, and are interconnected with approximately 100 trillion synapses. Yet, we have no tools to understand what is happening in our brain with high enough precision, either in time or in space.

CortiSci has the highest resolution neural interface sensors which can record the activities of the brain both from the surface as well as from the deeper structures. Today, over 30% of all of us suffer from some neurological condition. With the detailed understanding our neural interface technology will deliver, we can diagnose and cure many of the brain disorders. That is the promise that excites and energizes the CortiSci team!

Products

At CortiSci, we are developing advanced brain interface systems that can record neural activity with extraordinary precision.

Our electrocorticography (ECoG) platform uses up to xxxx advanced sensors placed on the brain surface to capture detailed patterns of brain signals, while our stereoelectroencephalography (SEEG) system offers a xxx-channel flexible solution for deeper brain recording.

These systems are being designed to work wirelessly, making them less invasive and more comfortable for patient. Our goal is to create tools that can help neurosurgeons better understand and treat brain disorders - and ultimately enable new forms of brain-computer communication.
